How this works: A legend to tracking useless data.

I am going to keep track of everything thing that I eat, as best as I can remember, for the year 2011. I consider myself to be a fairly average healthy American male, 28 years old, 5'11", 180lbs, living in Nashville, TN. I'm going to try and post everything I eat, in quantities, and with caloric content (when known). I intend to do this for 2011 only, and believe it or not, I don't intend to use this data to loose weight. I've been 180 for as long as I can remember. I stopped caring for a while and put on 10lbs; I stopped eating sugar for 3 months and lost it again. I was a firefighter, ran 10-20 miles a week, and wore a Nomex suit while digging firelines next to actual fires in 120 degree weather for a year; I lost 5 lbs. I have a voracious thirst for water, perhaps 12 or more glasses daily (especially in the summer). Also, I'm not much more active than walking the dog occasionally, and walking to and fro at work. I've given up judging myself by my weight, and am curious to see how I'm "really doing" nutritionally. Enjoy.
